Class will start Thursday, January 26, 2012, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Middleton Municipal Airport/Morey Field Morey's Private Pilot ground school runs 12 consecutive Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the conference room at the Morey FBO. Ground instruction is provided by multiple Morey flight instructors and focuses on areas such as airspace, weather, airplane performance, flight planning, radio communication and FAA rules and regulations. It is an excellent introduction to aviation as well as a compliment to your flight instruction. Completion of the course will allow you to take the FAA written exam. Instrument Pilot Ground School Class will start Tuesday, January 24, 2012, 6:00PM - 9:00PM, Middleton Municipal Airport/ Morey Field Morey's Instrument Pilot ground school runs 12 consecutive Tuesdays from 6:00PM to 9:00PM in the conference room at the Morey FBO. All subjects of the knowledge test will be covered including: aerodynamics, instrument operation and errors, regulations, human factors, principles of aircraft control under instrument conditions, weather, flight planning, communications, approaches, and avionics. Completion of the course will allow you to take the FAA written exam. Tuition for the course is $380.00 (course materials are extra). Tuition for the course also includes 2 hours of simulator (FTD) time in a Frasca 141 Simulator with a CFII Instructor. May 1st to August 5th Biplane Rides Of America will be based at Morey Airport starting May 1st for three months until August 5th. Rides will be offered from 10AM until 7PM everyday and outside those times by appointment. Rides are in a 1929 D-25 biplane with an open cockpit.
