SUMMARY:Private Pilot Ground School
DESCRIPTION:The next Ground School will be held in the Fall of 2026. It will begin with a course introduction and registration on Tuesday\, September 8th at 6:30 p.m. in the Morey Airplane Company conference room located in the terminal building. \nThe course introduction is an opportunity to meet the instructors\, learn about the topics covered and the required materials and supplies\, and review the class schedule. You will also see the training aircraft used for flight instruction. If you decide to enroll\, you may register and pay for Ground School at this time. \nClasses begin the following Tuesday (September 15th) at 6:30 p.m. and continue every Tuesday for 12 classes (skipping the week of Thanksgiving). All classes are held in the airport conference room. \nThe cost of the Ground School\, including tax\, is $535.17 (subject to change). Materials and supplies are additional and cost approximately $98.00. Supplies are available at our office and can be ordered during the introduction. \nNOTE:  The 2026 Fall semester of Ground School will be held without a student enrollment minimum.

SUMMARY:Wings Seminar: National Airspace Review
DESCRIPTION:Do You know Your Airspace? \nIf you are wondering what a Temporary Flight Restriction is and where to find them then this seminar is for You! \nThis seminar will be led by Scott Cabot\, Ground Instructor at the Morey Airplane Company. Scott will not only review the different types of airspace but he will answer any questions that you may have. Knowledge of the airspace along a route of flight is an important part preflight planning. In this program we will review the six classes of airspace with emphasis on the ones most often encountered by general aviation pilots. Special use airspace will also be reviewed along with TFR’s.
