Young Eagles flights will be on August 16 and October 4 here at Morey Airport. The flights will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M.
Bring your child out to Morey Field and enjoy an introduction to flight. Young Eagles is a program sponsored by the local EAA chapter. It's designed to introduce children and young adults to aviation. Please call Morey Airplane Company about one month prior to the event to schedule a flight for your 8-17 year old child.

Morey Airplane Company has a J-3 Cub available for tailwheel training! Costs: $60.00 per aircraft hour, 4.5 gallons fuel per hour, $50.00 per flight instruction hour. Renters insurance is required when renting the Cub please see the office staff about type of insurance and amount of coverage.
The next Private Pilot ground school will start Thursday, September 11, 2014.
Morey's Private Pilot ground school runs every Thursday night for 12 consecutive weeks from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the conference room at the Morey FBO. Ground instruction is provided by multiple Morey flight instructors and focuses on areas such as airspace, weather, airplane performance, flight planning, radio communication and FAA rules and regulations. It is an excellent introduction to aviation as well as a compliment to your flight instruction. Completion of the course will allow you to take the FAA written exam. Tuition is $300.00 for the class (course materials are extra). Space is limited, so call today (608) 836-1711 to reserve your spot. The first night of the ground school is free.
Morey's Instrument Pilot ground school runs every Monday and Wednesday night for 12 sessions from 6:00PM to 9:00PM in the conference room at the Morey FBO. All subjects of the knowledge test will be covered including: aerodynamics, instrument operation and errors, regulations, human factors, principles of aircraft control under instrument conditions, weather, flight planning, communications, approaches, and avionics. Completion of the course will allow you to take the FAA written exam. Tuition for the course is $380.00 (course materials are extra). Tuition for the course also includes 2 hours of simulator (FTD) time in a Frasca 141 Simulator with a CFII Instructor. The simulator time counts toward the experience required for the Instrument Rating.
