Directions to Middleton Municipal Airport – Morey Field (C29)

Located on the west side of Madison, we are conveniently located 10-15 minutes from the Capital, Camp Randall Stadium, and Monona Terrace and only minutes away from local shopping, restaurants, and Westside businesses.

From the West (Cross Plains, Spring Green, and Mazomanie):

• Take Highway 14 toward Madison to the Beltline
  
• Proceed north on the beltline for approx 1/2 mile
  
• Exit Airport Road
  
• Turn left on Airport Road
  
• Middleton Municipal is on the right at 8300 Airport Road

From the North (Sauk City, Wisconsin Dells, and Baraboo):

• Take State Highway 12 toward Madison to Middleton
• Exit Airport Road
  
• Turn right on Airport Road
  
• Middleton Municipal is on the right at 8300 Airport Road

From Interstate 39/90:

• Merge onto US-12 W/US-18 W toward Madison
  
• Take Exit 250 for Century Ave toward Airport Rd/Wisconsin M
• Turn left at Century Ave
  
• Continue on to Airport Rd
  
• Middleton Municipal is on the right at 8300 Airport Road

Noise Abatement

The Morey Airport Company has worked with the city of Middleton to develop a noise abatement program that minimizes the amount of engine noise our neighbors hear when an aircraft departs the airport. This noise abatement program, which is available for all pilots in the lobby of the FBO, asks pilots departing Morey to turn to a specific direction after takeoff and to not overfly any neighborhoods until at a safe altitude of 1,000 feet. 

However, sometimes a pilot either does not abide by this voluntary procedure, or the aircraft that they are flying may not be able to do so in a safe manner. When that happens, neighbors may be subject to noise levels that they are not used to. We at Morey Airplane Company would like to reassure our neighbors that we try to make every possible effort to educate students, flight instructors, and general aviation pilots on these procedures and to maintain 100% compliance when possible. 

Morey is an active and growing airport. Our airport is an essential part of the local economy as we serve local businessmen, teach local residents to fly and provide jobs to many residents of the community. We value our relationship with the local residents within our community.
